I have had these about a month. First it was that the volume was slowly getting lower. Then it was like right ear bud was dead.
Reset buds several times, went into pixel app cleared storage and cache, forgot them in BT settings, and finally got them to work.
That was good for 3 or 4 days. Then the low volume started again. So low in the gym they were worthless.
Did the same steps above but had to do it 2 or 3 times to work.
I am using a Pixel 3 XL. Any ideas what is causing this?
I have a Pixel 6 coming in next week with a free set of buds a series also. I will be able to find out if it is the phone or the buds.

Do you have any EQ settings turned on, or Bass Boost? Try turning those off.

I purchased a pair of these to replace my Pixel Buds 2, due to the microphones crapping out on them 2 months after the warranty expired.

In addition to the things I knew I would lose (wireless charging, volume control on the buds), my connection is not nearly as good as it was on my Buds 2. I could walk from one side of the house to the other (about 40 feet), and they stayed connected. With the A series, they drop out about halfway across. Google is hopefully sending me a replacement on advanced return, to see if it's an issue with these buds, but I've also ordered a pair of JBL Tour Pro+, which has wireless charging, Google Assistant activation by voice, and ANC. I'll see how those compare.
