bump charging

Now that I've rooted, when I try to charge while the phone is off it boots into clockworkmod recovery. This makes it impossible to bump charge. Is there anyway to get this to stop?

Hmmm that hasn't happened to me yet...

My experience is that it depends if you have fastboot enabled or not.
When enabled bump charging wasn't working and when disabled CWR will start as soon as you plug in the USB cable/charger and the LED doesn't light up.
I haven't figured it out myself.

i have the same problem. aggravating the ClockworkMod Recovery keeps up booting up everytime i try to shut off the device. You know what this means...your battery is constantly being used if you have it plugged in -> bad for the long term battery life for your lithium-ion battery

Any solution to thsi problem. Have now rooted and can't do bump charging anymore. Do not have fast boot enabled.

Apparently there is not a solution to this as of now? Glad to see that I'm not the only one with this problem though.

Read the above thread for up to date info on this issue. There are some workarounds it appears but the issue is not fixed.
