Busted Root

Similar situation as http://forum.androidcentral.com/hacking/32120-well-mucked-up-root.html but did not want to hijack that thread.

I have an HTC Evo which I ran unrevoked on last night pretty easily. Installed ROM Manager and attempted to install cyanogen mod. Now, I'm at hboot and can't get past that. I've tried doing a factory reset (boots back to hboot), flashing the cyanogen mod (boots back to hboot), restoring a nandroid backup (none of the four seem to be valid?). I have pulled the battery several times as well.

Any suggestions?

Woo hoo!! I'm all fixed. If anyone has a similar issue, I was able to boot into recovery, and then use the command line to push a newer version of cyanogen to the sdcard. That allowed me to flash cyanogen (latest version) which is now working just fine.
