Button stopped working

My original moto 360 has slowly been dying. The button has stopped working and because my watch was bought in the USA and I live in Australia, Motorola won't cover it under warranty.
Anyone had experience fixing this fault?

Even brand new, the button on mine only worked about 60% of the time :-/

*sigh* mine has developed a charging issue (hopefully fixed for now). So, maybe it's the age of these things... Not sure .
