Buttons wont stop flashing

I bought my fascinate this week and I am in love with it! I have a problem though. I downloaded an apparently from the market called Quick Settings by Aps Technology. There is a feature to set the search button to open the application. This didn't work so I uninstalled the application, now my capacitive buttons wont stop flashing on and off. Is there any way to fix this?

You might want to do a factory reset. Hopefully since it's new you don't have much stored on it yet.

That's what i ended up doing and the problem is now resolved
