Buy now or wait for a 5G device?

It's time to move on from Shamu. I was going to buy a new phone but with all the 5G news coming out I'm wondering if it would be better to wait until next year. I suppose they will all be $1000+ phones....sigh....

Do you live in a big city? Does your area usually get selected as a test area for new network technology? How long do you plan to keep your phone?

The build out of 5G to cover everyone will take time. If you're not in a test area or a high-density market it will take years to reach you.
