This is great news! HTC is thinking ahead by not launching against the April Apple watch pre order and Samsung S whatever phone. No more waiting until April 10th in the US !!

Super excited about this. Especially at that price. May not be able to get it right away considering I was thinking I had til the 10th, but at least I know final off-contract pricing!

HTC is offering no interest financing also, I read. That beats AT&T and their "Next" program since you are under no obligation contract wise. HTC even switches your phone if you switch carriers ! Unlocked IS the way to go for quicker OS updates too.

This type of financing is the true freedom. The carrier financing ties you to the carrier till its paid off. So much for freedom.

I just read where the AT&T next program adds up to $700 too- $50 more than an unlocked model from HTC. To heck with that!

I just hope that HTC has a new partner to ship these in the US, as there were numerous issues with the M8 launch last year on HTC direct ship orders. It ended up being available faster through AT&T..

How do you figure? $35.45 a month multiplied by 18 months equals out to$638.10.

Sprint told me their preorders are at midnight tonight also I hope that's true. I'm planning on ordering two and they said we'll get them before the 10th. But I have a coworker who was with AT&T and they said he had to do this next program but what is with buying an unlocked version from HTC is it better to do that? And then you're saying he can finance through HTC? And then he just calls AT&T to get it activated?

If he already has an AT&T acct. all he should have to do is slip his SIM in. As long as he has an activated nano-sim. Not sure what he's currently using. I'm not sure how HTC's financing is gonna work. I'm interested to see how they're gonna handle that.

Just get it from T-Mobile directly. Their preorder starts tomorrow and it's free overnight shipping.

I haven't seen anything about buying the M9 with a 2 year contract. If Sprint won't let me extend my soon to be expiring contract, they're going to lose my 4 lines of service.

He currently has an M7 with AT&T. Has anyone else heard sprints doing presale at midnight. Hope they were telling be the truth when I called them today.

So when it says carrier versions it means only from HTC? Cuz the article I read said you could get AT&T and t-mobile and if you ordered by 2 p.m. tomorrow from AT&T you would have it the next day. that's when I called Sprint and asked if they were doing the same thing and telesales said that it was supposed to go on sale at midnight tonight online only for early pre order I hope that's true cuz now I'm wondering.
