Right now I'm using AT&T but watch to get the Nexus 6. Was thinking of getting it through T-mobile but am worried about the service. I heard they are not the best indoors. Would it be best to stay with AT&T and just get it off Motorola's website?

Google has the 32gb in stock so you can buy it there .

I would try out t-mobile service before you ditch AT&T . They have that program where they give you an iPhone for free for a week to try out the service. They do put a hold on the credit card until you return it but they don't charge you if you bring it back to them

At work t-mobile was fine for me but at home it was useless . Some Other places it was a no go as well and I personally never use public wifi so wifi calling away from home is worthless for me .

Test drive would be the best if you can have that hold on your card. Free way to try out the network for your area !

I don't have the nexus 6 ....yet . I was thinking of getting it but I never pre ordered because idk with Verizon working at the time . I'm seriously considering getting one if I can get around $600 for my note 4 or when er Verizon sells it and I'll simply sell this phone for $500 and pay off the note 4 .

I had a nexus 5 and I like stock and touchwiz for there own reasons but I'm thinking of getting a nexus 6 because the note 4 battery life is getting pretty bad

Looks like they will be getting one shortly let's hope they do not do it like the Galaxy Nexus that was a nightmare for verizon folks

Tmo works for me very well. And if u are at home and signal is not the best u can simply use the wifi calling feature. If u move around the country a lot like i use to then i would suggest sticking to verizon or ATT.

Do not...I repeat do not switch to T-mobile! We made the switch from Verizon 2 months ago and regret it every day. We were with VZ for two years and they were expensive but I can count on one hand the number of dropped calls (with the exception of known dead spots). We started dropping calls the first week with Terrible-Mobile. On top of that, they baited us by saying that in addition to paying our early termination fees they would also give is up to $250 for each cell phone we traded in no matter what brand as long as they were working. So we traded in 3 phones...not the latest but a note 2, an LG and a nexus original. 8 weeks later they gave us a whopping $35 for all three. Like I said, we drop calls daily and it's the worst experience we've had. Note 4s and terrible reception...go figure!

I think this advice is location based. But the phone trade in seems odd.

Sigh just because you had bad service doesn't mean op or everybody else will. T-mobile was fine for me everywhere but my house but I left for other reasons . There is a reason why the test drive is a good thing which is to try r service out with no commitment .

Could very well be location based (El Paso, TX) but just another example of you get what you pay for. I miss VZ.

Also T-Mobile has Wi-Fi calling so if you have a poor signal you can still make calls. They will give you very quality Asus router. I paid a $25 deposit. I don't use mine for WiFi calling I just needed a new router. The WiFi calling works with any router as long as is baked into the software. I know the Nexus 6, Note 4 and S5 have it for sure.

I have an unlimited ATT line and a T-Mobile line. The T-Mobile is faster. ATT still has T-Mobile beat in rural areas but time are few and far between I'm in a rural area and don't have coverage. I drove through a spot going into Kentucky where neither phone had service. Wife is attached to ATT buy if I can get her to drop dont think I would miss Big Blue. The 2 Unlimited lines for $100 deal is insane.

What example ? It is ALWAYS location based ......Verizon or AT&T could very well be poor for somebody and sprint & t-mobile could work fine ....we all don't live in El Paso Texas

Ooh, let me try this!

'Do not...I repeat do not buy a membership to Costco! I bought a membership 2 months ago and regret it every day because the nearest one is over 100 miles away.'

I.e., one man's junk is another man's treasure, and vice-versa.

As to 'baiting' you, every company that ever wants to sell a product or service needs to entice it's prospective clients. If it were 'bait and switch,' that would be an entirely different matter, but it doesn't appear to be what you're describing. As to the value for the 3 phones, if they were all in good working order, I'm skeptical that they would only offered a $35 credit in sum if they did indeed meet their required criteria, but regardless, you as a party of the agreement should have sought a commitment as to that value (or at least a range) at the start to determine if you might be better off simply selling them on your own (much like when considering trading in an old car vs selling it outright).

We switched to T-Mobile from VZW over a year ago and in our house the coverage is better now than it was. My wife and I were grandfathered in on unlimited data on Verizon but when I wanted to get phones for our kids we couldn't change anything without losing the old plan so we really had nothing to lose by switching and in our area (Los Angeles, Long Beach CA) it's been better than fine. I travel a lot for work and there are some places I've been where T-Mobile is pretty sketchy and I am probably going to switch to a prepaid carrier on either VZW or AT&T but at least I'm not locked into a contract.

There is an app that checks the availability of devices in the play store called "Devices Stock Checker" that can help you get whatever version of the Nexus 6 you want, just be careful of how often you set it to check as it can take down your battery pretty quick.

I don't know why anyone would sign up with T-mobile right now when for $55 you can get 20gb of data with Cricket and be on the far superior At&t network.

Because Att isn't the best everywhere for one. And because of unlimited.
