Buying a Nexus one... Should I not?

So my blackberry is pretty much done. I was an early adopter of Android but switched back to BB due to the bunch of issues with the G1.

Now I want to go back to Android as I have seen how much it has grown.

My situation:
I want to get out of my t-mobile contract but I won't be able to for a while. I NEED a new phone and don't want to extend my contract, nor pay 500 for a new one(Nexus S).

I'm hoping the N1 will be a good phone for most of this year and then I can decide what carrier I want to switch to, if I even do - Maybe T-mob comes out with a better plan/price for me.

So, given my situation, any reason why I shouldn't buy the N1 considering on paper it seems to be a decent phone?

The one I'm looking to pick up comes with no charger, I want to make sure it works - Anything specific I need to check out? I have told the seller I want it fully charged so I can test it.

The price I will be paying is 250.

Thanks

I just bought a used N1 last week and love it....i wanted to get the nexus s or MT4G but couldnt pass up on the deal i got....

i say go for it

Yes the N1 is a great phone! Just make sure it is in working condition. You got a GREAT offer. Hope you like it. Great decision!

Well, you definitely are getting a good deal on it, even if it doesn't come with a charger. The phone is still good, if not as good as Nexus S, minus Android 2.3.

If you do decide to get it I think you will make a good decision.

Posting from my new n1... I've played with it for about 30 min and this thing is amazing. Super fast. Even the keyboard which I thought would be bad is pretty good.

Oh and tapatalk rocks!!

Nexus 1 is a great phone introduced by the Google. It is a flagship smartphone.HTc is currently manufacturing it.

In my opinion any phone running android system is.awesome.

The nexus1 seems like a pretty darn good phone to me... alongside my EVO.

Thanks again to all. I'm loving this phone and when comparing to other newer android devices it is just as fast, if not faster IMO..

Nexus one is a pretty awesome phone. I've had mine since launch last year and it has been a revelation.

I've switched to the nexus S now however, and would recommend it over the Nexus one as in my humble opinion the small quirks and annoying things in the N1 are all fixed in the Nexus S. Love the bigger screen and overall multitouch experience as well.

Whichever phone you get however, you can't go wrong.
