Buying an off brand back up battery...?

I'm wondering if there would be any negatives to buying one of the off brand gs3 batteries such as on ebay or Amazon as opposed to getting an oem Samsung one from AT&T?

OEM's are the safest way to go. You can buy OEM's much cheaper on Amazon.

Just remember the s3 that blew on someone. Was and offbrand battery blowing up.
