Buying D2 from Sears?

I am looking to buy 2 D2. I noticed Sears has them for $40 each, much cheaper than Verizon stores. However, should I trust "Sears or whomever" with my purchase and then any issues later on?
Has anyone gone this route?

you'll be just fine purchasing it from a 3rd party retailer like sears or amazon.
