Buying directly from Motorola...

So I have a question or 2. If I were to buy the HD directly from Motorola, would it still come with all the Verizon bloat? Would I actually be able to use google wallet? Would there actually be any advantage to buying from Moto (with new contract btw)? Also what is different with the Dev edition of the phone? I mean if you can unlock the bootloader on a regular HD what is the point of the Dev editions? Sorry if this is noobish, but i don't know too much about rooting and things. Thanks in advance.

It is a Verizon phone regardless of where you buy the phone. So buying directly from Motorola would still ensure you have all the bloat ware and Verizon stamps on the phone. I am not sure if there is any difference between the dev version or not, my guess would be that they are identical except the loss of warranty and an unlocked boot loader.
