Buying Droid from Walmart?

For those of you that bought your Droid from Walmart, did they require you to have a NE2? Bestbuy wont let me upgrade early even though I am elgible unless I have a NE2.

No they did not. I opened a new line and walked out of Wal Mart only spending 205. Its was 189 on instant rebate. No store matched their price.

Yes. But I am not sure though if they honor they NE2 upgrade. U might wanna ask first.

Go to best buy... I walked into the local Walmart and I know your not supposed to judge a book by its cover but there is no way I'm going to put myself through the hassle of dealing with Walmart employees and other customers. I'll spend the extra coin.
