buying EVO,good price?

almost too good to be true;
see the thread titled, "buying evo off craigslist, advice?" or something to that nature. there's questions in that thread which you should ask the seller.
one question not mentioned is--how in the world did he/she get one and why is he/she selling it (for that low?)
it's especially sketch considering the average retail for one here (in nc) is around$ 375-$500 on craigslist.

that's almost too good to be true.
i'd definitely ask for a receipt and good gosh check that ESN before any cash is shown in a public place.

in summary: $150=sketch.

I agree, this situation is too good to be true. My advice would be to go with the kid down to a Sprint store, and activate it there, with the seller present.

Just meet him at a Sprint Store when you buy it and have them make sure it is good to add to your account. Simple as that.

Given the response to the OP's other thread I'm not surprised that they haven't replied. It does seem too good to be true, and most likely is a stolen phone.

I would be curious to know how it ends up. It could just be a weird situation and he fell into a good deal. :eek:

Shoot, i wish i had people around here who were looking to get rid of their Evo for an uninformed price :)

"oh the Evo? no you don't want that. you want a Palm Pre...yup..i'll just take that off your hands for you..."

why aren't any of these kids in the Carolinas?

i would completely be up to drive upwards of 3-5 hours to pick up an Evo for $150

seriously.

well. to pick up ANOTHER Evo. the more the better.
