Buying from USA or UK and using in INDIA

Friends,

I am thinking to buy Galaxy Note 4 from US or UK and will use it in INDIA.

Can you guys tell me if I buy international (factory unlocked / sim free) phone,
1. will it work properly in India?
2. Shall I face any problems?
3. Can I get regular firmware updates?
4. Will I get the valid guarantee / warranty from Samsung in India?

If it has the right frequency radios. Different international models have different radios. The US models won't. The 910C might. The 910H might. Look at Samsung Galaxy Note 4 - Full phone specifications and you'll see what I mean.

2. Shall I face any problems?

Not if you buy the right model and don't use it until you're in India with an Indian SIM in it, otherwise it might lock to the region (UK) you're in.

3. Can I get regular firmware updates?

Not unless you buy it from your carrier (in India) or you're willing to learn to use Odin and find update files online (SamMobile Firmwares or the XDA forum for the international S4).

4. Will I get the valid guarantee / warranty from Samsung in India?

Valid, yes, but you'll probably have to ship it back to the UK or to Korea for repair.
