So I dropped my Pre today, and apparently that was the last it could take. The screen broke, and now won't come on (although seems to be powering up). So I go to my local Sprint Store (2 miles from Sprint HQ), and find out I don't have insurance, and am not eligible for an upgrade
(Corporate Account). Brett (sales person, and all round cool guy, definitely getting "5s" from me) does some digging, finds out that another line on our account is eligible, so he works some magic and VOILA I am eligible!!!
Then I go to look at the EVO and Epic (Luckily both are in stock!) and I am completely and utterly torn, I cannot chose between the 2. I find something I like about the EVO, then I fine something I like about the Epic, this goes on for like 30 Minutes. Then Brett comes back over and asked if I had made a decision yet, or if I had any questions. Still at a complete loss, I asked a question I already knew the answer to, (or so I thought) "Does ether have a car kit yet?" expecting to hear, "No, I'm sorry", I hear "The EVO does, just came in a few days ago!". I check it out and I am sold no more guessing for me!!! I am in my car roughly 4 hours a day (field service), and this will definitely replace the Pre Touchstone double-sided taped to the dash!!
Got the EVO, Car Kit, and a leather pouch for just under $300, for about $25 less (after tax) I could have gotten JUST and Epic, I think I made the right chose!!
