Let me firstly just ask, can I get a new phone? as there is no way I am staying with the lgg4c for other 2 years.

The lgg4c is by far the worst phone I have ever had in 7 years. I would rather go back to my Nokia than have this ****e. There are soo many problems with it.

-Its soo slow. Changing apps, opening apps, navigating, browsing the internet its SLOWW!. Earlier today on google...it just froze the internet page for about 15 minutes and was unresponsive..I nearly smashed it up.
-Battery is awful. Firstly, it takes far too long to charge, in an hour it does like 30%. Secondly, it runs out far too quickly! I go to uni at 10am, with the phone on 100%. I come home at around 5pm and its at 30%!!!!
-Space. This crap phone only comes with 8gb of space!!! And even half of that is miscellaneous crap! I only have around 4.5 gb of space left for apps. And that is nowhere near enough! I have had to even sacrifice and delete some apps that I cannot have. God help me when they need updating, by next year I wont be able to do any updates at all! AND I bought an sd card to put photos/videos/music and some apps but its still bad. If I wanted my phone to have that little space I would have just kept my old iphone space with 5 gb!!!

DO NOT purchase the lgg4c. Its dreadful.

I would get a replacement. I have a g4 and don't have any lag, battery charges faster, and is the best phone overall that I have experienced. You may have a dud.

Did you check the specs before you bought?

I'm sure that your problems could be fixed one way or another.

This is the G4 forum but we'll talk about the G4c here with you if you like. :)

I have the G4 and no problems. Are you sure you have the same phone? We call it LG G4. Never heard of L44G(C).

I didn't even think of the c part. I just thought it was a typo lol

Wow, I don't blame the OP on this. After seeing the clarification, the G4c isn't the G4's little brother. It sounds like it's the G4's baby brother that can't even walk yet.

To the OP, I think you're the only forum member I've seen post about the G4c, so I'm afraid you're probably not going to get much advice here. The G4c is a budget smartphone that may have missed the mark. You may want to reach out to Carphone Warehouse, express your dissatisfaction and see if they'd be willing to swap it out for something else. The Moto G (2015) is another budget/midrange phone that has received rave reviews for what it is at it's price point.

Sad that LG Would even release a phone with such a similar nomogram but significantly less specs... poor marketing idea.

When I first read the first post I was like ... "are you really serious?" None of those problems with my G4

Although the specs are lower than the G4's, the phone ought not to be actually bad. Have you tried fixing any of the problems you're experiencing with it?

I have no idea how to fix the battery charging time and usage, the slowness of the apps and just the whole phone in general, the silly amount of little space I have. Even the screen doesn't rotate with videos showing.

I'm not surprised its slow - it's got a low-end snapdragon 410 processor and a 1gb of ram - the reviews look pretty terrible. Did you buy it outright?

if you can take it back, for only about £30 more you could get the LG Flex 2 which is a much more powerful phone. Or if you want the same sort of money maybe the 2gb version of the new Moto G?

Well, a Factory Reset for example might blitz a few problems. Tweaking the settings might help....syncing, location reporting, background activity etc. Do your battery usage stats reveal anything abnormal?....because the battery life is said by one reviewer to be good. Booting into Safe Mode might be revealing. Also, isn't the storage expandable via SD card?
Don't forget too that even high-end phones can be troublesome.

Hmmm, I sympathise with how bad the phone is, if its as bad as you say it is. Any phone released in 2015 should at least give a half decent experience, and its inexcusable of LG to release a phone that doesn't. However, I can't help thinking that you maybe just didn't do enough research into the phone. Either that or you dont really understand phone specifications (thats not a criticism, just an observation), because the specs of this phone are never gonna give you the best smartphone experience. As already mentioned in this thread, there's also lots of unfavourable reviews online too. And to buy a phone with only 8 GB of storage you're bound to run out of space almost instantly. LG obviously released this phone as a budget phone, which explains the specs to a degree, but like I said earlier, its still inexcusable to release a phone that's basically rubbish. Again, as mentioned earlier in this thread, the Moto G manages to be a budget phone but still give a good user experience. Maybe use your experience with this phone to make sure you research things a bit more before buying and make a more informed purchase next time. Meanwhile, I hope you can sort out some sort of replacement for it

I have to say. It's refreshing to see people actually try to help someone instead of roasting them for an honest mistake.

Although it looks like a g4. It is not. Its like having a mustang with a V6 engine. You have the show but no go.

Entry level specs = entry level performance

There's still no reason for the phone to not perform basic functions. Start with a factory reset, reinstall apps one at a time, you may have a launcher or rogue app getting in your way.
