IMO, going by all rumours so far, I strongly believe this year's LG flagship will kill the upcoming Galaxy S7(note, edge). Though, that may not happen in sales.

By rumours, LG is seriously focussing on user experience which Samsung has been ignoring, IMO.

We’ll find out soon enough. I believe both are set to announce their respective flagships at MWC in the upcoming weeks.

I hope the LG G5 lives up to the rumours. Was looking at "leaked" photos the other day; and I must say, it looks like a sexy device. I love my G3 so much - I may stick with LG from here on out if the G5 does well. May grab that when the G6 or 7 makes an appearance. ;)

Me too... Love my G3 and do not want to upgrade to the G4. I will wait and see how good is the G5.

It's a matter of preference. Can't wait to see the ridiculous sniping that goes on in this thread.

If sales numbers for exact model lines were actually released, Samsung would probably still lead.

Well that's not a surprise since the LG phones were better than the Samsung ones last year too that being said rumors are rumors so till we see both phones it's hard to tell.

If LG can pull of that slidable battery and add that beast known as snapdragon 820 the g5 could be a great great phone..hopefully it will have more physical buttons

I agree. I bought the V10 because a swappable battery and SD card are priorities for me. Even though it's a tad slower than the samsung phones, you won't notice it. Who cares about milliseconds really. By the way, I'm coming from a note 4,which is a terrific unit, and an s6 edge wich is also a very good phone, but with horrible limitations. I really feel that samsung is going to bring back the sd card slot. After all, it's because of that omission and small, non-removeable battery, that took a great deal of sales away from these handsets. I don't mind a sealed battery, but make it a beast.
