Cache data clear?

Hey guys, I was noticing my phone was losing more and more space even though I wasn't putting a lot of apps on it. So I went to the storage and saw that the cached data was taking up about 8 gigs. So I deleted it and freed up a lot of space. My question is is it okay to clear the cache data? My phone doesn't seem to be any slower since I did that.thanks!

It is fine. Over time your apps "cache" data so they can load stuff faster. Clearing this doesn't hurt anything. I would suggest to do it every once in awhile to help clear that space.

Thanks! Yeah I got about 8 gigs back so its really nice.

Very nice . I usually clear my cache once a month (set a reminder on my calendar) -- That way it isn't an inconvenience and .. I also do not forget haha .
