I deleted the calculator that was on the phone, how do i get it back

Welcome to Android Central! Is the phone rooted? If not, you can't delete preinstalled system apps. Are you sure you didn't just remove the app shortcut from the homescreen? Or did you Disable it in the Settings>Apps​ menu?

Did u checked the app settings and then all... To see if the calculator app is there? You can then send a shortcut to the home screen.

It sounds like you only removed the app shortcut from the homescreen. Open the App Drawer (by tapping the icon at the bottom of the homescreen that looks like a circle or square with a grid of dots in it), then locate the Calculator app. Now long-press it until you can move it, then drag it to the homescreen.

Also, check in Update Centre, App Updates, down at the bottom. Smart Clean may have removed it because of disuse, and if so, you should be able to redownload it from there.

That's a good point--I always forget about LG's Smart Clean. But would it get rid of a preinstalled system app like the Calculator?

I seem to recall that it did precisely that in my own case on one occasion, but memory is an uncertain thing. Anyways, worth a quick look.
