Calendar alerts

I want a specific sound for my calender alerts. It is saved on my phone both as an Android & Zedge ringtone but when in the calendar ringtone selection list it is not there. There also is not an option to look elsewhere for the ringtone. Is there a way to do this? I am using the default calendar that came on the Thunderbolt.

I never use a calendar notification but to get my downloaded ringtones to work for messages I put them in a folder called notification inside a folder named media on my sdcard. I have created both file myself. After moving the files in there they should show up in the calendar options.
