Calendar Appointments

I am having an issue with calendar appointments. When I text a calendar appt from my Evo 3d to my 4G Touch, the Touch shows the appt like a video with a play icon in the message. I open the text and it plays like a video on a black screen with a message that states an attachment is included. I see invite.vcs listed below which I can't tap on to open and insert into my Touch calendar. How can I accept texted calendar appts from other people and add it to my phone? Here's a screen shot of what it looks like when I open a text appt.

Is anyone out there sharing calendar appointments on their 4G Touch? I really need help with this. Thanks.

Spoke with a level 3 Samsung tech and this is how to open shared calendar appointments via text message. Samsung should make this an easier thing to do. I like the way HTC manages shared calendar appointments better.

Text app>tap & hold message with calendar appt. (has a play button on the message)>attached files>check calendar.vcs attached item>save>save attachment (rename file since the same file name is used for all calendar appts, renaming is a good feature. Saves to internal SD card)>My Files>download>tap appt>import>should see "success" popup. Check the calendar and the appt should be there.

Don't know why Samsung sends the calendar appointment as an audio file which is so weird. Tech didn't know why either and thought it was strange.

I don't do this often on any phone, but I do share events via email - would it be easier to share them that way?

With instructions that complicated, screw the other guy and their shared Appt. I guess with me, I'll be the only one that knows my calendar events!
