I can't make a recurring appointment in the calendar for one week, 8-9am daily. It shows only one appointment starting at 8am Monday running through 9am Friday. Anyone else?

I just created a test event from 1330 to 1430 and made it recurring Every Weekday Mon-Fri. It placed it each day at the correct time, but there appears to be no way to limit it to only 1 week. There does not appear to be a way to set an expiration or an End Date.

Yeah, it goes on for infinity. :)

I just tried setting a test event in Outlook. There you have control over recurrence. It synced to my Google calendar and then to my TB correctly.

Yeah, or you can do it directly in Gmail from the webpage. But the HTC calendar interface doesn't work right.

You can do it if you schedule it as a "forever" event and then go into your calendar and pick the Monday of 2nd week and hold down on it until the screen comes up. Pick "delete" and another screen pops up that you can choose "this one and any future dates". All you are left with is your original week that wanted.

Well, that's an interesting workaround. The workaround I've been using is to simply make it an "all day" event, but in the Title of the event I put something like "Meeting Apr 11-15, 8-9am daily". As an "all day" event it doesn't take up any time slot but appears at the top of each of those days. It works.

I hope HTC Sense will fix this in the next release with Gingerbread. I mean, really, this is extremely basic functionality of a calendar scheduler app. Very basic.

and then

.
Of course, we shouldn't have to use work-arounds, even if they do work.....calendar is too basic an app to have these kind of problems...

then there's the problem of not being able to have an appoint like "recurring every 10 days".
