Calendar events on device only?

Hi all,

I got a Moto Xoom, and I am setting it up for work/play.

I was wondering if there is a way to have an option in the device calendar to create an event and not sync it to a google account. As privacy and security are high on my list for my calendar, I don't want to have any chance of the event details going onto the internet.

I have looked at Jorte, Business Calendar, etc. and haven't found anything that meets my needs the best. Jorte came close but the color schemes and widgets will take too long to customize for a conservative look.

You need to have your device linked to your main google account. You do this in settings. You also need to activate your gmail calendar which you can get to from your gmail.

I rock jorte and calwidget on diff screens, oh yeah

I just read again and realized you want the opposite .... you can choose to not sync your calendar.
