On the standard Samsung Galaxy calendar, is it possible to search for an appointment/event? I can't figure out how to do this. Thanks.

While in calender view, press Menu (bottom left), press Search, type in the event keyword and press GO (bottom right of keyboard) or the event that pops up.

When I am in calendar view, I press Menu, the pop-up options are, "Create, Go To, Today, Delete, Settings". If I just press the Search icon at the bottom left, I get an internet search.

My bad.....Even though it looks exactly like the standard Calendar, my updated Calendar (from a 2.2 ROM) has a sixth option "Search" besides the five you listed.

I've looked at another Captivate and don't see any way to do a search on the stock calendar. Sorry

Thank you anyway. I can't wait for the promised update that's never come.
But, at least I now know that when the update does arrive,, my search problem will be solved. Thanks.
