I've tried so many different things and I cannot get any reminders from any calendar I have installed. If anyone has an idea I would be so appreciative!

Common problem. If you do a search for "notification" you'll see a number of threads dealing with your problem. There are numerous settings that affect notifications, one being the battery optimization settings.

Do not disturb as well. It can make you miss alarms if you don't enable it correctly.
