Can anybody recommend a decent calendar replacement for the Nexus? I love ICS, but the native calendar app is downright atrocious! A widget isn't necessary here, but would be an added bonus.

what is it you want to do? What features that the stock calendar does not have are you looking for?

Jorte is what I use and really like it.

Jorte is nice. Use the widget so I can see everything that's going on without needing to open the app. Also use color note and make a list of important dates for each month and post the widget to my screen.

Business Calender Free has an excellent 4x4 widget and an excellent interface to add and modify appointments.

In the last few weeks I have tried Jorte, Pure Calendar Grid and Agenda, Simple Calendar, Business Calendar, and a few others...

I have decided on the Pure Calendar widget and Pure Grid Calendar widget. The are not free but well worth the $2.

I liked Jorte but some of my events showed up on the wrong days. Even after updates. When I finally paid for the Pure calendars I was pleased with the customization options. I am glad that Jorte didn't work well and I tried Pure, because I like it better.

I had a thread a few weeks ago and these were the options everyone tried and uses.

I use Smooth calendar and i really like it and have had no issues with it.

I use this and love it! Jorte is nice but the business Calender is my choice for sure. Use it for school and appointments etc.

I know this might seem odd but I really liked the calendar that Samsung included with the Galaxy S II. They really did a good job. I wish there was a way to get that on the Galaxy Nexus.

I went back and forth between jorte and touch calendar. Both are good, but I finally picked touch calendar. Keep trying, you'll find one that fits you.
