Calendar Sync.

Hi all,
Unlike many, I have no issues with my Nexus 5 except the earpiece is too "bassy" for me.....not sibillant enough !!!!
Anyway.....
I have Win 7 laptop
Win 8 desktop
Samsung Galaxy Tab tablet 10.1
Nexus5
I do most calendar entries in the phone / laptop, but when the sync is done, the Galaxy will not update colour labels..(they all remain dark blue) but the rest of the devices do...E.g yellow shows as yellow etc.
Can't figure out what I may be doing wrong.

What service do you use to store/sync your calendar? Do you use Google Calendar? or Microsoft's outlook/hotmail/live service? or something else?

I use google calendar. The app I use on the nexus and Tab is "aCalendar"

So the same app behaves differently on the Nexus vs the tab? (with the same settings)?
Could you try Google Calendar app on the galaxy tab and see if it works ok? If it does, you may need to reach out to the developers of aCalendar to see if they can fix it.

Edit: Since the issue is with the Galaxy tab, you should probably post this question in the Galaxy Tab forum instead of the Nexus forum - other folks there may be more familiar with your device and software.

I suspect the colored labels being a feature for a minimum Android OS. Possibly 4.1+.if I recall, the Tab only got up to ICS. I'm pretty sure this is the reason why the colored labels are not showing on the Tab.
