Calendars that accept notes not just appointments

I am looking for calendar that i can add notes to instead of appointments.

Any suggestions?

Allows you to add Tasks and Memos to your calendar.

Ive tried jorte and half a dozen others. What im really looking for is the ability to simply add notes without setting times, reminders etc.
Simply open the date add the words you want and save it. Very basic. Does anything like that exist?

You can try ColorNote.
It has a calendar built into the app, and has a widget that will allow you to quickly add notes to it's calendar by clicking on a day. The ColorNote widget is the one you may want to use with the app.
It does not sync with your Android calendar though.
You can, however, install ColorNote on multiple Android devices and have it sync between your Android phones and tablets.

AA task has a memo. You can also put the memo on a screen all by it's self as a widget.
