Calender misses events

When I set an event to reoccur every day, it periodically misses days. Its not every second or third day, but completely random. Makes the app totally unreliable. I chose not to sync this event to google or anything else (I have my reasons) but just to occur on the phone. I have also disabled the galaxy apps app. Could this be wh, or is it unrelated?
