Hi, I'm late to the tech age; my kids help me keep somewhat current. After toying with various tracfones (price was right), I got a real smartphone, a used Galaxy Note 3 a few years ago, which served me well. I dropped that in a puddle shortly after I was given a new Galaxy S8 Edge for work, but I still prefer the Note. Joined to ask questions about transferring info, security, optimizing use, and changing appearance. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.

Hi there, welcome to the AC Forums! If the Note still works enough to transfer you could use Smart Switch for that. Pretty much does everything automagically.

The GS8 is a great phone and you can download and change themes to change the appearance whenever you like.
Check the the Galaxy App store, you'll find many free themes and wallpapers.
You can also use an app like Nova.
