Call history as default tab

When I first got my OneX, when I wanted to make a call, I selected the green phone icon and it brought me to the Call History tab. The other tabs (Phone, contacts, groups) were there by not open. But, something changed. Somehow, I have changed these settings and now PHONE is the default. I want to return it to Call History- so when I press my green phone icon- I see my call history. help?

K so try this. Go to settings and click apps. Click on all. Navigate to phone. Click on it. Scroll down until you see clear defaults. Click on that. See if that works. Message me if it doesn't.

wizzrah, I am having the same problem - my default changed from call history to the keypad. I followed the advice you gave above, but I don't have an option to change my default. There is a Category "Launch by Default" and underneath it reads No defaults set. There is a button to Clear defaults, which does nothing...maybe becasue there are no defaults set. Can you help?

This was a relatively old post, but if I remember correctly (and also from re-reading this), it is what shows up when you hit the phone icon correct? What version of android are you running?

Can anyone help with this query? I have a HTC One M8. I prefer to see the Call History tab as my default when I press the phone icon but it is set to the Phone tab as default

Touch the phone icon, and you will notice the 5 different options on top (phone, call history, favorites, etc). To the right is a "three dot" button that brings up options (the top right of the screen to clarify). Hit this and you will see an option for "edit tabs". Done.

Yes I know its an old thread
