Call Quality Issues / Distortion...

Guys,

On my Z2, when you have the earpiece volume turned up past 50% the other person sounds distorted and the earpiece kind of clicks and pops almost like a blown speaker. Are they all like this? It sounds ok at lower volumes, but then I can barely here the other person.

Mine is clear 99% of the time. Sound quality is not on par with other phones I have owned.

But I'm not getting anything like your describing.

It's hard to descibe but it's more like a rattling vibration when sound is coming out.

Mostly calls, hard to tell on music, but mp3's don't sound super clear, these are high quality mp3's I personally ripped.

Hmmm my Audio is just fine, call quality could be better but nothing crackling, just not quite as clear.

I can't even suggest anything other than speak to a Sony Rep.

Sorry to say but I think you got a faulty. Mine is crystal clear on both ends (my speaker is usually above 50% while calling) and while playing mp3 on loudspeaker it sounds great (not hq rips though).

I have got the same issue with the call but MP3 songs playback seems to be normal. Please let me know what if you have fixed the issue.

The call quality on my Z2 wasnt great but I was having problems with calls going straight to voicemail so I did a factory reset and for some strange reason my call quality is okay now. maybe not perfect but no worse than some of my previous phones.
