call quality

Anyone know what the call quality is like on the 5x? Looking to replace my Samsung s4 mini. Looking at either a 5x or a motox play, like the thoughts of the big battery on the moto. Comments?

So far call quality on my 5X has been excellent. On Verizon at the moment but moving to Fi today. Volume seems to be good level on both ends of calls either through the ear piece or through speaker phone. Nothing seems to be muffled in any way. Huge improvement over my iPhone 6 lol. Hope that helps

I have just switched to a 5X from BlackBerry - used the 5X a ton today on business calls- worked very well, and callers said sounded great at their end.

Everybody I talk to says the 5X sounds far better than my OG Moto X ever did.

I've had my 5X for just a few days and already had multiple people tell me I sounded far better than with my HTC One M7. All of that feedback was unsolicited and usually started with something like "did you change phones? You sound so much clearer". My parents said I sounded like I was in the same room, so that was interesting.

BTW, all of this was while using a case that blocks the primary mic hole on the bottom, so go figure.

I use Hangouts to make my calls. They sound good. Overall works very well.

Seems good enough to me. I wouldn't say it was mind blowing clarity but not bad.
