Call Stickers going away

Juat recieved this email. Not sure why they would get rid of them. They where cool.

As of December 17, 2018, you won't be able to send Call stickers through the Samsung Phone app, including sending stickers during calls and declining calls. (Service availability varies by region and/or operator.)
We would like to express our deep appreciation to you for using this feature.

If you've purchased Call stickers through Galaxy apps, you can request compensation for your purchase before June 15, 2019.

To request compensation:
1. Open Galaxy Apps on your phone.
2. Tap More options, then tap Contact us.
3. Submit a request for compensation.
- For faster processing, include the order number in your request. Go to Galaxy Apps > More options > My Apps > Receipts to retrieve your order number.

So what did those do? I never used or knew about them until I got the e-mail... I guess it wasn't that popular, which makes sense for them to just kill off.

When you call people instead of seeing a picture of yourself you could pick an animated sticker to display on the user's phone when ringing.

It only worked on Samsung phones however.

I don't recall seeing a picture of myself when calling someone.

I imagine is the quirky pictures they ask you to set as your profile when you first open the Contacts app on a new phone. Default is a donut, I think?
