Call Volume Boost

Goto Treo Software makes this great app that boosts the speaker/incoming call volume for my old treos. I haven't found any Android app that does this. Can anyone suggest an app that will do this or perhaps there's a developer out there working on one?

Root your phone and use "louder Volume Hack" for rooted users only... its like $2.00 after euro conversion.

Aha. Thanks Jeremy. I played around with custom roms and hacks on my treo(s); is rooting the same thing? I'd like to get rid of some of the pre-installed apps.

I've heard some of the SRS technologies work great, there is one called Max-V which is supposed to boost volume levels, but no idea if they will ever get something going with Android.

But for now i've heard of the "louder Volume Hack" as well, but no root yet on the Eris. Not really sure how much louder you can get our speaker without blowing it, I've heard a few people complain of blown speakers so.... be careful once Root access is given, dont be too quick to make your volume louder as you may just end up blowing a speaker.
