Call waiting caller id question

I've noticed that the caller id when I am on a call always shows unknown then the number. This happens even if the person is on my contact list. This happening to anyone else? Is there a way to get the contact details to show instead? Thanks

No, not having that issue. My caller ID on the second incoming call shows the caller and the number. Also my call in progress screen shows the two caller IDs and the numbers of who I'm talking to.

I have the same issue on my Dinc, post 2.2 and it is annoying. Has anyone come up with a fix ??

I am also curious, I am experiencing the same problem. Are all of you guys alos using handcent? I have not tried anything to prove that it is related but i recall it happening around an update.

I did a 2nd hard reset and hoping that might fix the problem.

I will post back if it fixes the issue.

For me it is very clear.... I had no problems with caller ID, pre 2.2, then after installing 2.2 caller ID works 50% of the time.
