Call Waiting issue

I have the Note 9 512 unlocked on Sprint network, and since I got it on the launch date, I have had an issue with call waiting.... When I am on a phone call and another call comes in, it will disconnect me from the initial call, and then give me the option to answer the new call... This happens about 50% of the time if not more, but not always...... In other words, I can't ignore the new incoming call and keep talking to the 1st caller... I have to call the 1st person back... This is beyond annoying and I have been to several Sprint stores and Best Buy and no one can figure it out.... I even did a full reset and that didn't fix it either...
