Since the update today, my phone app keeps crashing. CallBGProvider is the culprit. Can't disable it or anything. Anyone else experiencing this?
 
See if you can clear the app cache/data for that system app in Settings>Apps, then force stop it.
 
CallBGProvider can't be disabled because it is the background service used to manage phone calls. Clearing app data should fix it.

I've seen other posts saying that switching to Google's phone dialer may clear it up. Those posts came from Google though, so...

If either method doesn't fix it, you may need to do a factory reset.

Did the app data/cache clear. Still issues. Switching to the Google phone app works fine however. Thanks for the replies..
 
Send feedback to Samsung about this through the Samsung Members app.
 
Turning phone off, removing SIM, turning phone back on, Insert SIM, this seems to have worked so far.
 
If it happens again clear Data and force stop both phone app and CallBGProvider

I went to Samsung chat support and they fixed just download smart tutor from Google play and give them access to your phone and they will fix for u
