Camcorder problem. Please help

i tried using the camcorder on the Evo but i cant get it to record every time. I press record and the phone freezes. The back button doesnt work but the home button does. Once I press home the camera and camcorder would give me a black screen. Anyone know what is wrong. I updated to latest gingerbread. Not sure if that was causing the problem. I've tried restarting the phone and pulling out the battery. If i do that i can get into the camcorder app but once i press record same problem.

I saw this once on mine since the upgrade. I havent been able to duplicate it yet though. Phone rebooted when it did that.

try a wipe maybe.

I had the same problem. Solution was

Menu / Settings / Applications / Manage applications / All / Camera / Clear data
