I really liked the Motorola connect extension for chrome on my laptop. Are there any good replacements for the nexus 6?

Chrome extensions should be Chrome-dependent, not phone-dependent. Just go to https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/motorola-connect/kigmoblgooahdmdibodmcnffgnejlndh?hl=en in the Nexus in Chrome and you should be able to install it.

I stopped using the moto X connectivity to my PC because it periodically caused chrome to crash. You're going to miss many of the X enhancements. I miss my X.

So far moto connect and drive mode are the only things I miss... I've only had it for about 8 hours but I really like it. I think I'm going to like the battery life a lot as well.

Moto connect is a no go but pushbullet seems pretty nice for linking up phone and PC.

The battery life is very nice.

For driving mode, Agent is a good replacement for Moto Assist.

Yes it is. I haven't turned any battery hogging stuff off and yesterday I had about 5 hours of screen time because I couldn't put it down. Still had over 30% left. I think I finally found a phone I'll stick with for a long time.
