Camera and flashlight not working after recent uodate on Galaxy S7

Hey guys I really hope you can help. I recently allowed my phone to update to the latest 8.0 software and since then my camera and flashlight apps will not work. The camera fails immediately when opened and the flashlight says the light is being used by another app. Both apps worked perfectly before this update with exception to the selfie camera, which hasn't worked in over a year which was fine.
I have since wiped out all cached data in camera app and in system recovery. I even did a master reset as a last resort. Please help me and tell me there's a way to fix this. This shouldn't happen because of an update.

I would check to see if the apps in question need to be updated.

Yeah, I checked all that and even took it in to a repair store and there was nothing they could do. I had to buy a new phone. That's about my luck!
I have a Galaxy S7 active for sale now, lol! Works great except camera and light!
