Camera button loose ??

Is your red camera button loose and have a up and down wiggle to it? My red camera button is a little loose but the volume and power buttons are Sid and tight. Is your camera button loose and wiggle is this normal.

It does seem to be somewhat of a norm for button to wiggle a bit but not to much... I have actually knocked mine off when placing on a case, the button can be a little loose that makes knocking it loose can be a possibility but the button simply click back into place easy enough... The way it clicks in, as long as you don't rock the button to far forward or backward the button wont give you any issues.

I cant really tell if mine has any wiggle motion to it I can feel it click in the "two stage" phrase on the red button tho. It for sure doesnt feel like its gunno fall off tho.

If I slide my finger up and down on it, there is some "see-saw" wiggle to it. Quite a bit. Not worried about it though.

Yes, perfectly normal and on purpose. The D1 and D2 are exactly the same way. It's because, as Clems mentioned, it's a two stage button so that the camera isn't activated accidentally and also so that you can focus the camera. You know, press it down halfway to focus and then the rest of the way to snap the pic.

I suppose it could be like every other digital camera and be a little more solid, but whatever. It's not going to fall off...and it's normal.

my droid x camera button fell off 3 days after having it!

Mine is nice and tight; no wiggle. However, taking pics is easier by tapping the screen than using the button. Seems like it doesn't make contact inside too well. Have to push and push to get it to actually TAKE the photo once the half-way focus is done.

What phone are you using? The button is the only way to take photos on the x.
