Camera button problem

Hello. I just bought Z1 Compact and I like it a lot but the camera button on the side of the phone is not working correctly: if I push it while not using camera it should open up camera but it doesn't. But when I'm using camera and push the button, it takes a picture as it should. Strange problem.

Okay I figured it out. I need to push the camera button for like a second or two before it launches the camera. But it launches it on default settings, so if I want to launch it with my own custom settings I must use the camera app icon.
