Camera cuts off

Hello I've been searching everywhere for a solution to this problem. If you're in camera mode & don't touch the screen or take a pic the camera will cut off & go back to the home screen after about 2 mins. Is therea way for the camera to stay on until i turn it off?

Do you have any power-saving modes turned on, or 3rd party "RAM cleaner" apps installed? If so, turn them off or uninstall them.

No all power saving modes are turned off. I don't have a ram cleaner installed. I've had to download a camera app from the play store. The camera apps will stay on forever but my stock camera cuts off after 2mins. I'd much rather use the stock camera.

OK I tried that but it didn't work. Would rooting the phone allow me access to the camera settings somehow? Does anyone else have a note 4 that they can see if their phone does the same thing?

I've decided to use open camera (the app). I'll be buying a galaxy s7 this week. I'm going to try one out at the store today to make sure it won't have that issue.
