Camera Failed error with front camera. Tried multiple different camera modules.

So I just recently purchased an S6 edge from a buddy of mine. When trying to access the front camera in any app, not just the stock camera app, it spits out the error "Camera failed.". I have tried 3 different camera modules, all to the same result. Has anyone had this error before? Maybe could it be the connector itself on the board?

Are you saying that you took the phone apart and replaced the actual front camera hardware?

Yes, I tried replacing the front-facing camera. I have three different S6E camera modules that I have tried.

Yes it does still happen in safe mode.
