Camera firmware updates?

I owned a S4 and currently own the Note 5. I am getting the S10+ on Sunday or Monday.

Question:
Does Samsung ever release software updates that improve the camera after the release of the phone goes live?

Just curious. The camera is the main reason I am going for this awesome phone.

I think that all the manufacturers do, where needed. Nokia has just done so, or is about to, on the 9, which is hardly yet available for many people.
I'll move this to S10 for comments from Samsung users.
