Camera flash "flashes" when receiving a call.

The first day I had my phone when I received calls the phone would just ring. Now after I received an update for the phone from Verizon my camera flash will flash and ring. Freaked me out.

I thought it might be an Accessibility setting, but can't find anything. Anyone else know why this would be or would cause this. I'm using the stock phone app also.

From the Note 8 manual:

Setting light notification
Set the device to blink the flash or the screen when an alarm sounds or when you have
notifications, such as incoming calls or new messages.
Launch the Settings app, tap Accessibility → Hearing → Flash notification, and then tap
the switches next to the options you want to activate.

Thanks, I just checked those settings and Camera light and Screen are both set to Off.

I figured it out. I was using a none system ringtone that I copied over from my Note 5. If I unselect that and use a preloaded ringtone the camera flash doesn't flash.

Really? I have a part of a song from my music folder as a ringtone, and I don't get any flash when the phone rings.

Yeah! I can make ir reoccur by selecting that ringtone. It must have something embedded in it. However, the weird thing is it doesn't do that on my Note 5.
