Camera flash won't stay disabled

Hi,

When i go into the camera settings using the stock app (latest OTA, not rooted) and disable the flash, it's fine...for a while. Eventually (within a day) the phone turns the flash back on by itself. Am i losing my mind?

The bottom line is that the camera application is terrible on this phone and may be the thing I dislike the most about it. How it cannot save your previous settings is beyond ridiculous.

same here but I haven't been able to pinpoint when it happens. it can definitely get annoying.

It will stay on whatever you leave it on as long as you don't hold the home button and swype the camera away.

Ok, but what does it mean to hold the home button and swipe the camera away?

Does that mean to tap the home button to exit the camera app?

probably meant to say swipe away the app within the open apps list.

And then as soon as you hit the home button at any time the settings are gone. So stupid.
