camera freezes

Wondering if anyone else is having this issue. My camera regularly freezes or has a black screen when I try to use it. I crashes and asks if I want to send a report. It can persist for a while and then go back to normal. I'm thinking about returning it

Yes. It still persists. It happens sporadically. Does anyone else have this issue?

after a few attempts with customer service, they allowed me to get an RMA. a new phone is on it's way

I have had this happen actually. however, it seems to have started after installing a new kernel. so not sure if it is because of that or not.

Is there a way to talk to Google customer service over email or chat for a replacement? Or only by phone?

Go to settings...scroll down to support and tips...that will open a support window with options including chat.
